A human adult or animal is one who has grown to its full potential. The human world of adult refers to social and legal concepts. In contrast to a person who is not considered an adult or "minor", the legal adult is a person who has reached the age of majority that makes them independent competent, responsible, and capable. You can refer to them as a "major". The age when a child turns an adult legally is 18, however, the definition of"legal maturity" can be different depending upon the nation or legal system in place, and also their psychological state.

Adulthood refers to the period in human life when an individual has reached maturation in both physical and mental development. Adulthood, as generally understood, begins at the age of either 20 or 21. It is generally believed that middle age begins around 40 years old. It is and is followed by around 60. When we reach early adulthood, our physical abilities are at their maximum. These include muscle strength as well as reaction speed.
