Katarina was born in Staaken on the 3rd of December 1965. As she seeks out new challenges she continually opens up new areas of work to herself, and has gained experience across a variety of fields including figure skating, producing performing, presenting, acting, and writing. Katarina Witt ended her amateur career following the 1988 World Championships. The next three years, she is co-headlining her very first tour as professional in the US as well as Canada alongside World Champion and Calgary Olympic Champion Brian Boitano. She also competes at international professional competitions. She develops headlines, designs and creates concepts for and creates many international ice show shows with her own firm, WITHWITT. It is the innovator in the skate production business, producing shows as "Divas of Ice", "Katarina & Friends", Enjoy Stars and Winter Magic", for US TV and German Television.
